Information About Us

We are a Protestant Marching Band from the Ballynafeigh area of the Ormeau Road in South Belfast. We take part in many parades throughout Northern Ireland during the year usually from around the months of March through to October.

The Parades consist of Loyal Order Parades (Orange Order, Royal Black Preceptory, and Apprentice Boys Of Derry) and also Band Competition Parades.

Like most other bands membership over the years has went up and down. Despite a few years when membership had been low, we have now increased in size and the band is again going from strength to strength.

The type of tunes we play consist of Melody Tunes, Military Marches, and Blood and Thunder Tunes. The instruments we use are, Premier high tension side drums Premier Bass Drum and B Flat 5 key Miller Wick flutes.
