Firstly we would like to thanks
all the bands and spectators who made the long or short journey to
Castledawson to support us tonight, and also the collectors.
The parade started as planed
sharp at 8.45pm led by Lisburn Young Defenders. We had a total of 24 Bands
which was 5 down from last year. It was a great night for all concerned
with the weather staying kind to us unlike last year. We would like to pay
a special thank you to Lisburn Young Defenders for making the long Journey
to lead the parade, and as usuall they where supberb and Aces High at the
start was great. Others bands that impressed where SOW's Cookstown,
Dunamoney, Montober, Dunaghy and Dunloy. There was a large crowd out
watching, which was bigger than last year due to it being a better
evening, and the parade finished at 10.00pm. We where out in our new
uniforms recently purchased with 6 Drummers and 28 Fluters.
